Welcome to The Millie Rose Foundation

The Millie Rose Foundation was born from the heartbreak of losing Millie.

Out of unimaginable pain came a determination to help other families who find themselves facing situations they never could have prepared for.

Our mission is to support families through the unimaginable, providing practical help, emotional support, compassion and hope when they need it the most.

We want families to know that they are not alone.

We want to help ease some of the burdens they carry, provide moments of comfort and happiness, and create precious memories when every moment matters.

One of the most meaningful moments of our journey was taking our rally car to the RVI to meet the incredible PICU team who cared for our beautiful daughter, Millie. It was our chance to personally thank the doctors, nurses and staff who showed such compassion, kindness and dedication during the hardest time of our lives. Seeing the car covered in messages of support and hearing about our fundraising efforts was a reminder that Millie's legacy continues to bring people together. We will always be grateful to the PICU team for everything they did for Millie and for our family, and we are proud to support the Great North Children's Hospital in their honour.

Being featured on ITV News gave us the opportunity to share Millie's story with a much wider audience. We wanted people to know who our beautiful daughter was, raise awareness of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), and highlight the importance of recognising the signs of this aggressive disease. Most importantly, it allowed us to introduce Team Millie and our mission to honour Millie's legacy by raising funds for the Great North Children's Hospital. Every person who watched, shared our story or supported our fundraising became part of helping us turn our heartbreak into hope for other children and families.
